Justin Grabenschroer (1991) is a photo based artist living in Omaha, Nebraska. He utilizes space and land to inform his narratives. His work often explores discomfort, grief, and time. He focuses on capturing the mundane to showcase the meaningful lost memories of everyday life. This method allows him to be completely vulnerable with himself while staying above water. Timing is the most important piece to creating his photographs. He allows himself to consider, "what will he gain from capturing x, y, and z". To be clear and concise removes the muddy waters from his vision. Grabenschroer received a BS in History from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2015. He’s exhibited work in Colorado, Nebraska, and Oregon.
